After two sets of changes, The Girl has finalized her Senior schedule.

Fall Semester: Band, Human Anatomy/Physiology, AP Chem, Intro to Sociology (concurrent enrollment at OSU)

Spring Semester: Band, English IV, AP Physics, yet-to-be-named college course (concurrent enrollment at OSU)

Did not end up with AP Stats or any true math course, but she'll get enough math in AP Physics to make up for it.

The Boy's 8th grade (Junior High) schedule:  (both semesters are the same)

English
Band/Trumpet
Pre-AP Algebra I (goes on his HS GPA, but is not counted in his HS math credits)
Science
Spanish I (HS credit)
US History

Dylan's schedule:  Monday and Wednesday (8:45 to 3:10 chemistry and humanities (combined English and history) at the campus.  He will have a study period between chemistry and lunch.  Humanities is after lunch.

Thursday through Saturday are home school days with Algebra I first semester, Algebra II 2nd semester; Literature, PE, and world history (20th century).

There is no school except for homework on Tuesday because I'm not home.  That's the day I go to the contract shop to cut.

DD1 satisfied her two years of foreign language last year.  She finished the year with an A in French 2.   She may continue a foreign language in 10th grade, I don't know yet.  She'd love to take Italian but no school offers it, If down the road a college does I am sure she will take it.

I can't believe our boys will be 5th grades, sniff sniff, Lol.  Is 5th grade the end of the line for elementary in your district kickboxer?

Yep. He will go to middle school in 6th (unless they restructure the schools which they are talking about but don't think that will be accomplished by then if it does even happen).

My oldest is a sophomore and his schedule is the following:

Chemistry, Trig, World History, CAD 3, Language Arts and Weight Training.

The middle school schedules aren't out until later this week.  The twins better both be in pre-Algebra, I was told they would be but don't trust for the school to follow through with it.

She's got some tough science courses, I'm impressed! Will she have to wait to take the AP Chem exam until spring, or do they take it after the semester is over?

Well, it's the first day of school here, and my sin's schedule is still a hot mess. I am just counting the days until we are DONE with this. The upside is that I am so disgusted with the red tape, etc, that I am not at all sentimental or sniffy about my taking my last-ever first day of school photos.

They only do AP tests in the spring.  She took AP Calc and AP something elsemath already, but didn't want to take the tests.  I'm not sure if she'll take the AP chem and Physics tests either.
