"Long lost husband" update

I knew he'd call when he could, but the wait was difficult.

He sounds good, all things considered, and despite the crappy telephone connection. He's getting our mail. . .albeit slowly. . .and sending some mail back to us (not typical for him.)

Thank you all for your positive thoughts and prayers for my family and my soldier. . .and other military families and service personnel like us.

With all due respect to President Bush, this war won't be over for me until I have my husband in my arms again. . .and until that day comes it's nice to have supportive friends IRL. . .and on an internet debate board.
