DH brown bags it or occasionally goes out. In his previous job he did the dog duty and went home.

I take leftovers or other brown baggish stuff 3-4x a week to the office. 1-2x a week I eat out -- often meeting dh for lunch.

I rarely get to lunch with DH during the week because of time and distance but it all worked out last Thursday. He was coming up to the burbs for lunch with a co-worker and I was having a slow day and was able to join him.

We aim for once a week together. since he's just on the other side of campus, it's pretty easy to do.

When dd still lived here, we usually had a cooked lunch at home, and most days dh would make an effort to join in. With everything going on for everybody, it was a nice way to take a breather together and check in with each other. These days, dh and I often go out for lunch, but it serves the same purpose as before.

Usually brown bag (or left overs to be more specific). On occassion we get take out, maybe once a month or so. And I'd say that once a month (or every couple of months) I go out w/ a girl friend for lunch.
