1. Favorite face moisturizer? (My clinique is running out and wondered if there is something better or same quality without breaking my face out)

2. Outside--which do you prefer or have....table with umbrella or table under a tent/gabezo?

3. When getting a mani/pedi, do you always get both at the same time?

My kids are pretty much past the slip and slide age, but when they weren't we would let them play in the yard after it got dark.  But mostly by the time my kids were about six or seven, most of the kids in attendance would usually just pack up the sports equipment and head to the park for baseball or basketball until it was time to eat.  We live four houses from a largish neighborhood park.

I have had adults do it lol. Why wouldn't you let them play in the yard after it got dark if you were having a get together? Don't you have lights in your backyard? And then light some citronella candles?

Yeah I could see that before dark

By a certain age, they all played outside in various public places rather than at someone's house. Here they were a tad older before doing that without supervision, just because it is a large city and all that.

Oh yeah, us too.  In Oklahoma, you really don't have daytime parties in the summer.  Or, if you do, they're at the pool.

I think I was unclear.  I said I DID let them play in the yard after it got dark.

I was speaking more of when you have a party at home. Usually the kids stay and do things there and not go elsewhere. Except I can see the park if it is that close to home. At night they wouldn't be roaming the neighborhood but doing roasts and in the pool and other things.

Locale makes a huge difference here.  Daytime temps are often 100+ in the shade here, so we tend to keep things in the early evening.  And even at 9-10pm a firepit wouldn't be used in teh summer - our overnight lows are often in the 80s.

Yeah, you usually need some type of pool or water activity in the summer, especially for the kids.

Oh, I'm so sorry you're not capable of handling all that.
