Doesn't salad and bread = starch and veggie? (errr, veggie and starch?)

I usually put a dab of butter and lots of cinnamon on my sweet potatoes. I try and get the huge ones as I have that as a meal with cottage cheese after the gym sometimes.

I do the sugary kind for the holidays.

Pork roast, with green beans, potatoes and a salad

Hot dogs, probably with some sort of macaroni and brocolli. (ds5's night to plan, lol)

hamburgers

tacos (yes, again...we have them almost weekly, b/c everyone loves them and they are fresh and easy on busy nights)

chicken & veggie stir fry with brown rice

Dh will make chili at the end of this week

And I will probably roast a chicken at some point, and make soup.

The glazed carrots aren't very sweet at all ... the sweet potatoes are only marginally sweet. The Boy loves both - I figure both have very healthy bases (sweet potatoes and carrots), so I gotta serve them to him when I can!

I'm ready for soup weather. We haven't really had it yet. But I have two whole chickens in the freezer, so I anticipate soup/stew soon (although most of one of those chickens will be used for the pot pie). I really wanted to do sweet potato chipotle soup this week, but because of time and weather, decided to just bake them instead.
