Haven't done this here in a while, but since we're busy today I will.

That may be why I hadn't heard the term until a few years ago. Ime, the term used to be used almost exclusively to mean breaded and fried, like you state here; i think in recent times it has started to be used to describe the cut of meat - ie. the tenderloin portion of the breast. They are now labeled that way in some grocery stores and/or from some brands. I don't voluntarily use the term "cutlets" - I only use that term in venues where others use it.

And while my chicken "tenderloins" or thin breasts aren't breaded, they are by no means "plain". I don't do much of anything "plain". (much to The Boy's chagrin)

Yep, I think it is one of the best I have ever had :)

You said my "sauce". I never talked about my sauce being special, now did I?

Oh, I am sure they are not "plain" as my grilled chicken is not plain either but I would call it plain compared to it being breaded.

How long does it take to dip chicken cutlets into egg and flour/bread crumbs and cook them?

Pork sausage is not necessarily unhealthy.

I don't try and rush my dinner so things I want to be perfect, I would rather do on a day that I have time. Just like my baked ziti. If I made it on a weeknight, we wouldn't be eating until way after 7pm, closer to 8pm.

Oh brother. Maybe it's a cultural thing, but *by me* when someone says that they make a good pasta dish, it's usually refering the thing thing as a whole, and the sauce is a major part of it.

Different, not plain.

Oh well, things are different in different places. Kind of like how some people serve corn on the cob with spaghetti and meatballs-lol.

For me, it's not as much the time it takes, but the mess involved.
