No real plan here, either. I've been experimenting with a proper sauce for pork medallions, which my husband has all of a sudden decided he really likes. Finally hit it last night with a reduction of pan drippings, hard cider, and chicken broth, with a little sage and capers. Chicken thighs and salad tonight. Skipping dinner on Wednesday, DH will fend for himself. Friday were going out for a St Nicholas Day Feuerzangenbowle party.

That sounds really good, I have done a balsamic reduction before with pork and sage, but haven't used hard cider before.  I have a couple of bottles in the fridge leftover from a party a few weeks ago and it's too sweet for my taste, I think I will give your recipe a try.

Mine would, actually the whole family would eat the meals that Rollmops described, they sound great!

No firm plans for this week yet.  I made a big batch of potroast over the weekend, so one night will be leftovers and we are having chicken something for dinner tonight.  Maybe lemon chicken with brown rice and a roasted veggie.  That sounds good.

No real plan for the whole week, but on the weekend I made lentil soup with beet greens added and it was really good. Today we will probably have steamed salmon, with mushrooms and broccoli sauteed together as the side.
