Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in skillet. Add 1 tablespoon chopped garlic and 1 pound shredded yellow squash.. Cook 1 minute. Toss with 1/2 pound cooked linguine, 1/2 cup toasted sliced almonds, 2 tablespoons olive oil, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 3/4 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.
The original recipe also called for adding parmesan cheese at the end but I did put that in my copy. Because of sodium restrictions I leave both that and the salt out.
I believe that everyone must rejoice in his destiny, in the fact that he has lived at all and achieved a destiny. Destiny is the only sure asset.

Sunday- Cobb salads with grapes and focaccia bread- the chicken is done on the grill and everythig else I set up buffet style so we can make it to our liking
Here's the current revised meal plan for the week: Sunday we had grilled hamburgers with onion, romaine lettuce, grilled avocado, catchup and mustard available and salad (mixed greens for dh and Dylan, greens with dried cranberries, walnuts, and feta cheese for me). Today we had sloppy joes with a salad of mixed greens; I put pears, toasted slivered almonds, red onion, and croutons in mine. Tomorrow it's chicken cooked in the crock pot; spaghetti for Wednesday; shrimp and pasta on Thursday; something with hamburger on Friday; left over chicken on Saturday (possible something Mexican or Asian). Dh bought a 3 pound chub of hamburger yesterday which is why we had hamburger meat 2 days in a row. I hate serving the same meat 2 days in a row so I had to plan out the rest of the week. The whole chicken has to be cooked tomorrow because I took it out of the freezer on Saturday.

I'm sick of food, I'm tired of thinking about it, tired of prepping/planning it, just done.
