1. What did the kiddo's get in their Easter Baskets this year (if applicable)?

2. What color nailpolish do you have on your nails and toenails?

3. If you wear jewelry, do you buy more earrings, necklaces, rings or bracelets?

Sav--my sister rocked a pixie like that last cut for years. Now she's got shoulder-length hair and wears it curly a lot. It looks beautiful but she hates it and misses her pixie. I've got poker straight, baby fine hair. A ton of it. And it does not hold a curl. A friend once brought a curling iron on a trip specifically to curl my hair. I laughed and told her good luck. By the time she got from one side of my head to the other I had mere waves where she started. She finally got why she'd never seen me with curls...

I've got a stacked bob right now that I'm loving b/c it dries so quickly. DD has had one for years and it looks so cute on her that I finally broke down and copied her. I may go blonde again next...

DD1 got her paternal grandmother's hair. Straight as can be, will not hold a hair, even with a perm.

DD3 has her maternal grandmother's hair, very curly.

They say when your hair grows back after chemo it can be completely different from before so her sisters are teasing her that she will have curly dark hair instead of straight light hair.

There's nothing more flattering to me than hearing my husband tell me I look good in what I'm wearing, And I'm not a fancy dresser either.

My shower, makeup and hair doesnt take too long. I always leave myself 2 hours when going out but add in eating and other things. I can be done way less than an hour.

On work days, I'm half hour from getting in the shower and being fully dressed and madeup. Sometimes less. I might stretch that to 45 min if I take special care of a special event or something. And even the half hour seems too long to me -- thus part of the desire to chop the hair again.

Mine tends to tell me I look good in what I'm *not* wearing ... Tongue Out

That's me too bord, I actually just had my cut pretty short a few weeks ago for spring. Love it short, but can't seem to find the time on a regular basis.

yeah I'm about 25 minutes from shower to hair to makeup to clothes... I think nearly 40 years in teh theater has given me the ability to do makeup in about 2 seconds.. and in summer time if I gel my spiky hair just right I don't have to even blow it dry...

If I know I have to be somewhere in the morning I try to hop in the shower the night before otherwise I don't get a shower until after my kids get off to school. But your schedule sounds like DD1's, She sets her alarm for 6:10 and by the time she is up, has breakfast and gets her hair and makeup done she's ready to leave for school by 7:00-ish. Love that this is Spring break, Next Monday the drudgery begins again, Lol.

Yep, Jam. My alarm goes off at 6am, get out of bed at 6:10 am totally ready (after getting everyone ready and out and things done around the house, 7:50. I then sit and have my breakfast and relax a little bit as I don't have to be at work until 9.

Sav, I like the last one, but that's becasue I have curly hair and would kill to have hair like that. If I were to have it cut short, it would look like the first one no matter what I did.

The older I get, the shorter my hair gets, but it's still shoulder-length right now. And from April to October when the humidity level is 75% or higher, I don't bother blow-drying it at all. It would only add frizz and take away curl, so why fight nature. ;)

Shaking my head at the things grown women get their panties in a wad about.

That's the part about having short hair that I don't like, Bord. I always go in a week or two past when I *should*. Jams, I really like that cut, and was thinking about growing mine out like that... I still may, but I always pick things that look nice with short bangs. I can't stand my hair in my face! I usually get up at about 6 (no alarm), see my highschoolers off, and get younger son moving (the kid is a reader and I have to light a fire under him nearly every morning to get him to put his book down and get ready to go). Then I jump in the shower and get ready... probably about 30 mins (I've never timed it). After I get out, I usually have to remind the son to finish getting ready (he will read while eating breakfast, then just keep reading, lol). We are usually out the door by 8:30.
