1. Will you be shopping on Black Friday or Cyber Monday?

2. "5 months of bills...." as the song says. Do you have a budget for the holidays or do you have "5 months of bills..."?

3. What is one food that most people make for Thanksgiving that you do not like?

4. Do you dress up for Thanksgiving?

Ok, maybe not "difficult" but time-consuming. I only felt it was time consuming when I needed a new washer and dryer and it was not working properly.

It can take longer to wash, dry, fold and put away a load of laundry than it takes to make cookies.

Yes. I am serious. I don't have such a syllabus.

<>

Where would you get such an idea? No, it didn't happen to me. I was cooking and baking - quite well - by the time I was a teenager.

<>

Easier? Maybe. But overall, life is much better as an adult. IMO.

Me? Yes. My brothers? Not so much. but then, I'm the one that was married, owned a house, had a career, and children by the time I was 25. And I was fully independent by the time I was 18-19. They're almost 30 and still neither brother is fully independent. Why? In good part because my mom still cooks for them, does their laundry, and takes care of them.

If I didn't have the responsibility of a job, I wouldn't have the freedom to spend money the way

Her good china can't go in the dishwasher and she's very particular about the order things are washed in and with what dishcloths and how they are dried. If it was just a matter of washing off the dish before sticking it in the dishwasher, it wouldn't be an issue.

Yes. An hour or so. They don't get up until I'm already home from the gym.

Wash - 25 min.
Dry - 45 min
fold - 10 min for a normal person, 30 for dh! lol

so, even if you overlap and have a load in the wash while one is in the dryer, you're talking just about an hour per load. 6-8 loads, 6-8 hours.

This doesn't even figure in sorting, checking pockets, treating stains, or putting away.
