1. Will you be shopping on Black Friday or Cyber Monday?

2. "5 months of bills...." as the song says. Do you have a budget for the holidays or do you have "5 months of bills..."?

3. What is one food that most people make for Thanksgiving that you do not like?

4. Do you dress up for Thanksgiving?

The time I do it is right before work while I am sitting down watching TV anyway, sometimes at lunch when I am just eating and watching TV also and at night while I am watching TV or on the computer. These are times I am home anyway. I need to get out on the weekends and don't want to have to worry about 6-8 hours of laundry. I did one load today. No time at all and I folded it and put it away inbetween going out shopping.

Shouldn't you be spending that time with/for your kids instead of with your friends?

They'll be in bed when we go out with our friends.

So that's okay. But it's not okay if i work out in the mornings while my kids are still asleep.

Gotcha.

You do remember me asking about that and you told me that they were sleeping and were awake when you got home, right? Then we had a conversation about how early our sons get up.

Are they sleeping when you do your volunteer work at night (outside of what you do at home)? What about when you travel for work?

I understand that not all the time kids are sleeping when you are away from them, besides work. I try and not do much extra things though like volunteering that will take my time away from home as my kids need me now. There is always time for volunteering later on in life when my kids are grown. I don't need to do many things for myself that takes away time from my family on a regular basis.

Ahhh, see, my kids don't need me every waking hour. They're mature and responsible enough to function without me at times.

I don't do many things for *myself* that takes away from family on a regular basis either.

Truly, my kids aren't suffering because of my "extracurricular" activities. Try as much as you want to disprove that. You can't.
