1. Will you be shopping on Black Friday or Cyber Monday?

2. "5 months of bills...." as the song says. Do you have a budget for the holidays or do you have "5 months of bills..."?

3. What is one food that most people make for Thanksgiving that you do not like?

4. Do you dress up for Thanksgiving?

Yuck. I hate eating off of plastic and with plastic utensils. I do it occasionally for birthday parties. But for me, the extra work is worth it for a holiday meal.

Not to mention, knowing the basics long before adulthood meant you could learn in adulthood how to make things from scratch instead of from a box and could focus on learning better nutrition.

It's also really sturdy. We've only broken 3 or so pieces in the 8 years we've had it. Speaking of, I need to replace the purple plate DD broke before I host Christmas dinner!

I am very lucky in that except for a very few tedious things, I do not find my adult responsibilities onerous or overwheming. I like my house and love being the one to choose what it looks like. I love my job, it excites me and energizes me. I love being. Mom and find my kids to be interesting people to spend time with. When I was a kid, I couldn't wait to grow up and not have anyone tell me what tme to go to bed or to eat things that looked nasty to me or have to endure being hugged and kissed by straange relatuves we only saw occasionally. I wanted to go places, see new things, read books that my mother said were too mature for me. I craved both the freedom and responsibility of adulthood.
