1. Will you be shopping on Black Friday or Cyber Monday?

2. "5 months of bills...." as the song says. Do you have a budget for the holidays or do you have "5 months of bills..."?

3. What is one food that most people make for Thanksgiving that you do not like?

4. Do you dress up for Thanksgiving?

I took recipes but made them my own. Funny how that is a popular thing to do, to give your favorite recipe at a shower. Wonder why people would do that if you should be teaching your children how to cook and bake and they should have had their own trials BEFORE they leave their home and have their "own" way of cooking and baking-lol!!!!

You never use a cookbook and that's supposed to be a good thing?

I can make a bunch of things without a recipe, but the menu would get rather boring. I love reading cookbooks and recipes and trying something new. My kids do too. It may not always be successful, but we like the adventure.

i think if there was a pattern of breaking fine china hwn i had company ( and BTW, that's pretty much the only time i pull it out, LOL ) then, yea, i'd resort to paper plates. vanity fair is a nice compromise. ;)

I guess you missed the poster last night who felt it was her "duty" to teach her children how to bake before they leave home.
