1. Will you be shopping on Black Friday or Cyber Monday?

2. "5 months of bills...." as the song says. Do you have a budget for the holidays or do you have "5 months of bills..."?

3. What is one food that most people make for Thanksgiving that you do not like?

4. Do you dress up for Thanksgiving?

I don't disagree. But I've seen people that take a long time - as an adult - to teach themselves those things. And I've seen those that never want to learn adn expect their spouse to do it for them.

I have only one set of dishes but I have service for 24. I have Pfalzgraf stoneware which I think fals somewhere between what most people think of as everyday dishes and what they think of as fine china. I have silver I inherited which I like but I would never have gone out and bought.

I should add we have a few Corelle serving pieces. DH loves them because they are lightweight and he uses them for platters and things when he is grilling outdoors.

I also prefer stoneware, i should also clarify I would not use corelle for holiday entertaining... but i may use it for a pool party or bbq outside entertaining b/c of its durability. It is perfect for the R.V

Just to throw my two cents in.

We use cheap-ass WM Corelle for everyday. If we have just a casual friend over for dinner or something, we "upgrade" to our Corningware. If we have guests over for a more formal thing, or for holiday entertaining, I get out my depression glass. It was my grandmother's. I have almost 12 full place settings and quite a few serving pieces. I love it. It's the Pink Sharon/Cabbage Rose pattern.
