1. Will you be shopping on Black Friday or Cyber Monday?

2. "5 months of bills...." as the song says. Do you have a budget for the holidays or do you have "5 months of bills..."?

3. What is one food that most people make for Thanksgiving that you do not like?

4. Do you dress up for Thanksgiving?

People are nuts. Some of the same people who worry about kids growing up too fast becase they know a blue state from a red one are the same ones who think it's fine and dandy to take a kid to Hooters or for a Dad to hire a strpper for his son when the boy is a teen.

Do you let your children do/watch/go/eat whatever they want, or have you set some boundaries?

That's me, too. DH listens to music on the radio, but I prefer silence in the car if I am alone. I plan, plot, make up stories for the kids, evaluate, reflect, and mostly just concentrate on my driving. With the kids, I want to talk to them, and with one in the third row, there is no way we can carry on a conversation over the music.

Of course they have boundaries BUT there are times when there is nothing wrong with what they are doing because they are kids and I, as an adult, understand that just because I don't like it doesn't mean they can't listen to it or watch it or eat it, etc.

What is fun to me when we are in the car is our kids' reactions to things DH and I are saying to each other. Many times on long car rides they will pretend to be asleep so that theycan overhear "private" talk betwwen us.
