We try not to have "private" talk in the car in front of our children. They don't need to be involved in many adult conversations.

i'm of the opinion that kids grow up too fast. but we've never been to a hooters and i doubt DH will hire a stripper to initiate DS into teenhood, LOL...where do you hear this stuff anyway? the news?

Yep and realizing that when you have kids there are some things you "give up" for awhile while they are growing up.

ANYTHING is bad over and over and over-lol!! Kids go through phases like that at different ages though, books, music, movies, TV, etc.
