1. Will you be shopping on Black Friday or Cyber Monday?

2. "5 months of bills...." as the song says. Do you have a budget for the holidays or do you have "5 months of bills..."?

3. What is one food that most people make for Thanksgiving that you do not like?

4. Do you dress up for Thanksgiving?

Just a guess, but weren't you the one who stated that a cruise gives you a deep and meaningful historical understanding of the islands you visit for couple of hours visit? Whereas Merella's experience of Europe was an informative cultural as well as educational experience.

There's nothing wrong with a cruise vacation, many enjoy them (not me), but few would suggest that they give a deep understanding of the cultural divides of a geo differences in cultures and provide a foundation for a global world view

I love resort vacations though as as long as they are not on a floating hotel. I've been to Bermuda, Hawaii, a bunch of Caribbean Is resorts, and Fiji for sun/surf/sailing/sex/sustenance/sipping/sand

Rollmops. Hs decribed a thought process that is extremely common in gifted children who are often quite self-aware and conscious of their differences from "average" children. It is too bad that these children are characterized as abnormal by adults who do not understand them. Mostt children, even gifted ones, want to please the adulrs around them and would be quite hurt by being characterized as odd, although it happens far to often.

I don't really know who Justin Bieber is, but I really enjoy Lady Gaga for some strange reason.

We had some really cool Weekly Readers starting in first grade, when I was in elementary school.

Dh and I have read aloud to each other while driving. We did it just this summer on the way home from the beach. We were both reading the Stieg Larsson books. Once the kids were asleep, I read while he drove. It's a nice way to pass the time.

Driving the kids to school and me to work in the morning, I often listen to the news-- NPR. The radio station I usually listen to has really awful morning talk hosts and I don't always feel like listening to one of the CDs in the car.
