1. Will you be shopping on Black Friday or Cyber Monday?

2. "5 months of bills...." as the song says. Do you have a budget for the holidays or do you have "5 months of bills..."?

3. What is one food that most people make for Thanksgiving that you do not like?

4. Do you dress up for Thanksgiving?

What do the Duggars have to do with anything? She was making a very good point.

What do you mean "their things"?

lol!! That is why we disagree. I think this time in my life should spent with and for my children. I chose to take care of my family and not spend the majority of my day exercising, volunteering, reading, doing things for myself. I enjoy doing things for my family and while I do teach them things, I would never expect them to do their own laundry so I could do my "own" thing.

I didn't actually mean for it to be private, exactly....just a bit of a joke about the availability of infants.

O.kay. What is the difference with someone having a younger brother or sister though and in that "baby doll" stage?

But see, if dh and I have to spend our time doing the laundry, that's time we don't have to spend with the children. Whereas, if the children do part of it themselves, they can be doing it while dh and I are doing other necessary things (dishes, cooking, folding our own laundry, etc), giving us all more time to spend together.

Also, if dd doesn't have her band shirt, or her girl scout pants, or her favorite jeans clean because she didn't put them in the laundry basket when the family laundry was done ... why is it my responsibility then to take time to wash, dry and fold those items so that she can have them when she needs them the next morning?
