1. Will you be shopping on Black Friday or Cyber Monday?
2. "5 months of bills...." as the song says. Do you have a budget for the holidays or do you have "5 months of bills..."?
3. What is one food that most people make for Thanksgiving that you do not like?
4. Do you dress up for Thanksgiving?

So YOU don't even do the laundry? lol!! Why does it take him so long and why doesn't he throw in a load or 2 during the week?
Yeah, I am still a mother and realize that kids forget things and I don't find it too difficult to ask them if they have anything for the hamper, just like I ask my dh. Shrug.
Slave??-lol!!
Secondly, I ask them quite often before I go do things. I ask dh too. they most definitely have input, although they don't make the decisions. That's my privilege, and responsibility, as the adult and parent. After all, wouldn't it be forcing them to grow up too soon if they were the ones making the decisions for the household?
How much time my children spend with their father is irrelevent.

WHY should a 12/13 know how to make a basic cookie recipe? Do you think every child is interested in cooking or baking and do you think that your children couldn't figure out how to read a recipe if they didn't know how to make a basic cookie recipe at 12/13?
My mother did the laundry everyday and clothes that we were the day before, in the laundry that morning were in our bedrooms to be put away after school. Granted my mother did not work then but when she did, my dad would throw in a load at night when he came home from work first. Nothing ever sat around and I never had a time when something was not cleaned. I guess that comes down to organization too. Shrug.
Nah...I know lots of people who didn't have to do the chores I hear of. Again, I don't see anything wrong with teaching your children especially if they are asking to learn but I do think that I am still their mother and I plan to take care of my family as long as I can.
To have less responsibilites, yep.
