What separates private school from public school IYO?

What school memories stand out about your own schooling?  Did you attend public schools or "private"?

What did you want to be when you grew up?

As a side, What's your weather like today? :)

Jams, are you trying to say that your parents did NOT think Catholic school was superior to public? Then why did they put 6 kids through Catholic school?

Oh mops, Lol. You're speaking for my dad now and the superior you think he thinks faith based are to public schools?  I'm going to talk to dad later this week, Can I tell him you said hello?  :)

No, Not fiction PKA. But if you don't want to stand behind the posts and support of posts that mock and put down public schools so be it. I am amused you even go as far as to compare the dollars and cents private schools take from you to the public dollars that fund public school. Nice competition tactic there but it doesn't work. I was raised to respect differences not challenge them.

Jams, no, I did not miss it at all. Clearly they must have thought that a religious education was superior, if they paid for 6 kids to go to Catholic school.

According to the comments, it wasn't even considered.

"You were raised in private school, you wished that for at least one of your children at one point and if private schools means to you that all people are alike, then yes, you were raised that way." -------- This bears repeating, and I do wish Jams would address it.

"if they paid for 6 kids to go to Catholic school." I bet the school was happy to get that kick back! ;)

Clearly you missed the remarks about faith based education with my own children?  Or do you just choose to ignore them in your less then genuine and honest remarks?

Mine weren't out of context but your comments are fiction and to continue to post such fiction when you have been corrected multiple times makes these comments not genuine or honest.  You were raised in private school, you wished that for at least one of your children at one point and if private schools means to you that all people are alike, then yes, you were raised that way.  Your dishonesty in posting does nothing to change that if that is what you believe.  I went to pubic schools and as I have said numerous times, I have no issues with public schools but might I suggest you remove the chip off your should for people who are able to send their kids to private schools if they wish?
