1. Do you make meatloaf. Do you have a great recipe to share?

2. What was your last big purchase?

3. Do you go apple picking and/or pumpkin picking?

What a great idea thardy, leftover meatloaf sandwiches! I don't make enough for leftovers but that's a yummy idea.

I love me a cold meatloaf sandwich. lol. It all depends on how it comes out if there are any leftovers for the next day lol.

1. I do make meatloaf. Mine is pretty simple,  hamburger, egg, bread crumbs, italian seasoning, worcheser sauce. Ketchup on top.  It is the same recipe that I use for meatballs.

2.   My ring,

3, no

I make it, once in a blue moon.  I don't really usually use recipes...just throw things together from memory.  I don't know that we'd call it great...it's basically just ground turkey, sometimes ground chicken as well, worcestershire sauce, finely chopped onion, parsley, egg and bread crumbs.  Usually I make it in the crock pot, but since we've had the cat I've felt safer using the oven.  I have horrible visions of him knocking over the crock pot while we're gone and helping himself to the meatloaf.  Surprised

2. What was your last big purchase?

Define "big".  I bought a car about a year and a half ago...a TV last December.  Depending on the definition, I guess one of those would be it.

3. Do you go apple picking and/or pumpkin picking?

no.

<<3.  We used to go out to the pumpkin patch when the kids were little but not any more.  We would go apple picking if there were Honeycrisps growing here.  Alas, there are not.>>

Maybe the 5lbs of Honeycrisps I just purchased today could be considered my largest purchase as of late?  lol

1.  I do make meatloaf but not very often.  I use a mixture of ground meats, whatever we have, lamb, turkey, pork and beef.  I use oats rather than bread crumbs, lots of onions, an egg (possibly two eggs), chopped parsley, and good quality tomato sauce.

2.  I guess it was half of DS #2's car.

3.  We used to go out to the pumpkin patch when the kids were little but not any more.  We would go apple picking if there were Honeycrisps growing here.  Alas, there are not.

I do, but not very often and no, I don't use a recipe.

2. What was your last big purchase?

Hmm, I don't know.  I guess it would depend on what you mean by big and purchase.  Does it need to be tangible or services?

3. Do you go apple picking and/or pumpkin picking?

I will walk to the back yard, pick a pumpkin and walk to the front porch...does that count?  lol.   We also have apple trees.  :)

I often make my meatloaf in muffin tins; they freeze very easily afterwards and are the perfect size to reheat for lunches.
