It is FINALLY warm by me Laughing

1. Do you have allergies to pollen? What are your symptoms?

2. Did you do anything fun for Mother's Day?

3. When it is humid, does your hair go straight or frizz up?

Because you are looking deeper, at the roots!

"Here's a good example of frizz vs. curl." ----- They do look different, but lots of people have curly hair that naturally does the frizzy thing.

Oh definitely. Some are naturally frizzy and just gets more so with humidity.  Some are  naturally curly and get frizzy with humidity.

I worked with a girl in college (1991ish) that literally ironed her hair. She'd lay her head on the ironing board and iron it.

" And a lot of girls & women with nice curly hair, if they brushed through their hair when it was dry, it would end up looking like the one on their left." ------ Yes, those two pictures do look quite different. But I don't think I would notice or think "frizz alert!" if I saw the one on the left walking down the street. When my hair was long, it could only be brushed when dry. Even at the chin length it has now, it can be difficult to brush when wet.

My hair, when long and left natural, turns total frizz if brushed dry.  I can't brush it wet either, as it's too thick and wavy/curly.  So I comb or pick it when wet instead.

Today I think I will be thankful for my naturally straight hair and finding a cut that works with the hair well with just a simple blow dry at most.

Yeah, all the straight hair these days is just Marcia, Marcia, Marcia to me.

"So I comb or pick it" ------ When I had the pixie, I could comb my hair and it was so nifty. Even at the length it is now, a comb gets stuck halfway down. It's weird. When I had long hair, combs would just break.

DD1 straightens her coarse hair now and then, that's a throw back to the 1970s? Who knew.. Lol.
