I think pe should be required for kids who don't particpate in at least two sports a year, otherwise I don't think it should be required.

PE is required here, wish it wasn't for kids who play more than one sport.

Why?

A little confusing how it came out but one is for a regents diploma (which is now required to graduate) and advanced regents.

In our high school A days and B days are completly different.  It is similar to college where you take some classes Mon-Wed-Fri and other classes Tue-Thurs.  Where it differs is if this week Mon-Wed-Fri is an A day and Tues-Thurs a B day then next week Mon-Wed-Fri will be a B day and Tues-Thurs will be A days.

Friday was an A day, tomorrow will be a B day. They just go back and forth.

Really? And PKA was concerned over the "video game" (which was an interactive game, no sitting) in my ds's PE class. Band and PE doesn't really equal out, IMO. That is one of the reasons why so many kids are obese as they allow them to substitute classes like that or not require them to take any at all.

Good question, I really don't know the exact number of hours - I drop my girls off by 7:20 and the first bell rings at 7:35 or 7:40, They are out of school at 2:10.  DS' day starts a little later and I pick him up sooner too.

Go Denver!

A banana and two or three cups of coffee if that counts.

I haven't had rice krispies in years, do you slice bananas or strawberries on it?  I kinda like just sugar too.
