Do you have any interest in reading the Elizabeth Smart story?

What is your natural hair color and do you color it?

If you were granted ONE wish, what would it be and why?

What is your favorite Doritos flavor if you like them?

What are you doing right now?

"despite government's best efforts some people would rather stay poor, overweight and unhealthy" --------- So, it seems to be your opinion that if people are poor (or overweight etc) it is because they want it that way. Again, I remind you of the bimbo scenario question, which you seem incapable of answering.

Jams, btw, you are, of course correct that there is an element of personal responsibility BOTH in poverty and in disease. This was what I argued yesterday, although yesterday you seemed to find this argument ridiculous or some such. The point is, however, that bad things happen even to responsible people and no amount of personal responsibility is going to prevent bad things from happening. It may lower the risk some, that is all.

Oh yeah, because there is no federal funding at all for cancer, diabetes and the like. BAER.

"Oh yeah, because there is no federal funding at all for cancer, diabetes and the like." ------ LOL, I was thinking the same. Not that this is the point really, but still ...

So basically we are all supposed to only wish for causes that help you personally, perhaps you should have let us know that we were only making wishes that center around your life and your causes.

Do you have any interest in reading the Elizabeth Smart story?  No, not really

What is your natural hair color and do you color it? Medium brown with natural gold/auburn highlights. However, it has darkened with age so I've been highlighting it for years.  I try to keep it a medium brown so recently had to do low lights to get back toward my natural color.  I also have a lot of gray which I now have colored.

If you were granted ONE wish, what would it be and why?  That my husband and I will both live long enough to see our kids grow up and become independent.  I say this because last month, a friend with three kids was killed while out riding her bike and now her children are motherless.  Then on Friday, we got the news that another friend of ours was struck by a car while walking on his street (woman was blinded by strong sunlight and hit him).  He leaves behind two sons in elem/middle school, as well as his wife.  Tragic accidents and the sudden loss freaks me out (especially since dh is also a cyclist so now I'm always worrying when he is out riding).

What is your favorite Doritos flavor if you like them?   Not a huge fan.  I prefer plain tortilla chips with salsa or guacamole.

What are you doing right now? Sitting at my computer procrastinating until it's time to take my son to the ortho in an hour.

Stories like these make me absolutely ill.  I am so sorry, Merella.  :(

Do you have any interest in reading the Elizabeth Smart story?

Not particularly.  I do admire her strength and her resilience, but I'm not sure that I care to read her book.

What is your natural hair color and do you color it?

Light brownish.  At one point in my life I colored it, but I stopped that several years ago.

If you were granted ONE wish, what would it be and why?

I'd probably jump on the non-cancer bandwagon as well.

What is your favorite Doritos flavor if you like them?

I don't eat them much, but I like Cool Ranch.

What are you doing right now?

Eating lunch.

Gosh, one wish right now would be to have that volvo back, it was totalled last night.

Oh, yikes!  I hope he's OK.
