Do you have any interest in reading the Elizabeth Smart story?

What is your natural hair color and do you color it?

If you were granted ONE wish, what would it be and why?

What is your favorite Doritos flavor if you like them?

What are you doing right now?

A sociology professor recommended this study to read after we had a class discussion about self-identification strong enough to ignore one's own self-interests.

The discussion here seems so similar.

I'm so sorry Merella, that is one of my biggest fears and it's so heartbreaking and awful to hear those stories.

Merella, there were several similar incidents here recently. As a runner, with lots of runner and cycling friends, it hits too close to home.

No, too upsetting.  I saw ES on tv and no matter how she colors it, I still think it will take a few more years for her to get past her abduction.  My children saw her on tv briefly, so I used that as a starting point to discuss stranger abduction.

What is your natural hair color and do you color it?

Dark brown, with a few grays now.  I get carmel brown highlights ever 2 to 3 months.

If you were granted ONE wish, what would it be and why?

My wish is for an easy October/November this year.  What with winds, power outages, trees falling, we are on our third trampoline and out a bit of money in hotel bills.

What is your favorite Doritos flavor if you like them?

I guess plain.  I like Doritos but they're evil.

What are you doing right now?

Waiting for dd's phone call, to go pick her up.

I'm not that selfish bord, And what matters is helping people help themselvs.  YMMV, your views are very one sided.

"And what matters is helping people help themselvs." I completely agree. That is why I am so passionate about education.

"And what matters is helping people help themselves" ---------- Definitely a fine idea. In practical terms, can you give an example of how you might do that once you are a social worker?

"Merella, there were several similar incidents here recently. As a runner, with lots of runner and cycling friends, it hits too close to home." ------- Same here, although I do not run. But a good friend lost her DH, because he went for a bike ride and got mowed down by a truck.
