In the spirit of the season, name 4-5 things that have made you smile recently.

1. Bad Nativities. 2. That Pope Francis has endorsed public breastfeeding. 3. A little girl in my Sunday School class who is painfully shy but who insisted on coming up to greet me when she saw me in an unexpected context last week. 4. How much the students in my Vikings class learned over the course of the semester and how hard they were willing to work.

You got me poking back at the op as I thought I read it wrong, Bad nativities?

We had all the girls over before DD1's semi-formal last Winter too, Each girl brought a little something to eat and we ordered pizza, one of the girl's grandmother stuck around too, Fun all around...  Then off they went.

DS gives me unexpected hugs a lot, warms my heart!  He is going to be 11 in two short weeks and I hope he never outgrows that.

"Yes, I collect bad Nativities and publish one a day all through Advent." ------- I remember the Christmas we were in Rome that we children were fascinated by the profusion of huge and extremely kitschy nativities in the churches.

1. The dog pouting about a boring day last week.

2. Seeing dd who just arrived.

3. Seeing my physical therapist, whom I had not seen in a long time.

4. DH calling me (he is traveling) all excited about how well one of his current projects is going.

5. Eating 3 melomakarona the other day. First sweets I have had in probably 6-8 months.

2. Watching my dog go up stairs while wearing a cone of shame.

3. Listening to the music my husband has been composing.

4. Seeing the snow fall.

Interesting yet strange too, I'm always amazed by the many looks across the country - I esp loved the ones that brought in live animals the week of b/c those were always catchy and kid friendly, Lol.  Do you set up these "bad" nativity scenes or only judge them?
