1. What was the last thing you did for your kid?

2. What things do you like doing with your kids?

3. What memories stand out about your own mom... Good or bad?

4. How many kids do you have? Is it a # you planned for/wanted?

5. Do you have a pet(s)?

the 11 inch ones aren't too bad! they dont' have a cd/dvd drive though so if that's important to you it's better to upgrade to the pro

My daughter and I both have macbook pros-- love them... she has an ipod and both her parents have iphones and ipads ... we are an apple family... but i still fondly remember that little tan macintosh with that gray screen and the "hello" icon welcoming you

Im trying to get a grant to pay for my first laptop. I want a MacBook Air to take to Europe this summer.

Jam-what are "practice" kids and I don't see that on your #4 question. Did I miss something?

She asked how many kids we "have." Not the ones we used to have but threw out of the nest once we were done practicing.

I installed some wonderful apps for managing meetings and santa also gave me a wireless keyboard so when i have meetings to go to I can now ditch my endless legal pads at all the boards and committees I serve on so I bring the ipad and keep all the meeting notes organized on their instead...

and i'm also totally addicted to Subway Surfers.. ;-)

It was a pretty epic Christmas.. she totally earned this one... and we decided about a year ago to give it to her so we just put a little aside all year long, paid cash for the whole thing and it was sooo worth it.. especially since it means that I get MY macbook pro back and she can do her homework and social media on her own macbook! We also installed a wireless printer so we can all print from our laptops or ipads from anywherein the house -- THAT I love..

That's my dilemma. I have the MacBook and the iPhone, so I'm not sure I really need one. I would like something for reading books, but a Kindle Paperwhite would be perfect for that (and waaaay cheaper). An iPad would be nice if I did more travelling for work though. I'm sure I'll get one eventually. . . .

Little expensive IMO for a young teenager (starting at $1,400) :0

Well then don't buy your kid one.
