I have a secret crush on Johnny Depp, Seriously, And my kids are still fans of Edward Scissorshands.

My feelings about JD are not, in any way, secret.   In fact, I have a Captain Jack figurine on my desk ... And dh sends me JD stuff quite regularly (photos, news stories, DVDs, etc)

Yep cchick, I agree. It's all about the label/name brand. The pair my kid saw were at the Hollister store, But she settled for 1/2 that at Aeropostle for the same thing!

< "lenovo" which is some cheap model! >

Actually, Lenovo bought the IBM's PC Unit in 2005 for $1.75 billion. No so cheap

[Gee, I would never pay that for shorts. And that's what I told my kid about the 49.00 pair.. I like that they're catching onto the concept of sale too, they've begun connecting sales to sensibility.]......... It is crazy for the amount of material that is offered for the price. I know that I could get them a lot cheaper than $50 (coupons, deals, etc.) but that is not the point. They are so not worth that amount of money.

"For a piece of clothing that will barely cover the crotchal area?" --------- According to DD, it is common to see girls in English night clubs with skirts so short that their (thong "clad") rear ends are half exposed.

Jennifer Lopez has her own line at Kohls and I was looking at a pair of cute shorts BUT....they were too short (for me) and they were $50.

We can only hope!LOL  They are so distasteful and OMG, the prices.  I saw a pair in Dillards last summer and looked at the price tag, just out of morbid curiosity.  $85!!!  For a piece of clothing that will barely cover the crotchal area?  Yikes.

Yum, Johnny Depp. Oh, I am not allowed to drool over him though, right Jam as I am a woman. lol. I wanted to jump out of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride as it looks sooo much like him. I did see a show where he was sitting in the seat when the ride was going through. Oh my...I told my dh that I would jump out of that boat into the water to run to him lol.
