I would have called it Mac as most names are now abbreviated lol
A Macintosh in my world is an apple lol. I never heard anyone say they had an I-Macintosh lololol
I just never thought of automatically connecting it to a computer, It could have been a family name or something. Yea, then there's "Mac" too, That sounds like a name my kid would give his future pet - as in big mac or Mac the great, Lol!
Most names are abbreviated? I don't know about all that. We don't do nicknames in the shortened name sense...although we do have a few names for the cat that are completely unrelated to his actual name.
Nobody says they have an iMacintosh because there's no such thing. However, Macintosh is indeed a computer-related name...as is Apple.
My girls have long legs and they look good in shorts but I hate the short, short skirts.
(Begging for warm weather, can't you tell? Lol, today was a snow day but Spring and shorts season is just around the corner, right?) ;-)
I am not a fan of super-short skirts, either. It doesn't even matter to me who they're on and what their legs look like...it's just an unbecoming look.
I don't like the really short shorts they have for girls now. I won't buy them for my girls--luckily it's not that hot here. : )

Since growing out of the little girl section there's not a lot of variety for junior shorts IME and they won't shop in misses with me, Lol. Maybe the daisy duke look will be out this Summer, Last year my kid wanted a 49.00 pair that I refused to buy, She found a pair at the Limited or Aeropostle for 1/2 that.
