"But isn't it ok Jam, to call it One Direction?" ---------- I am forever grateful that dd skipped that stage. She went straight from not having any interest whatever in boys to having a Johnny Depp poster on her door :)

Well Roll, that gives me some hope actually, since I know your dd has grown into a nice sane adult!

I'll come right out and say this is a diverse and fascinating group of women. We've got Catholics, Protestants, atheists, evangelicals, Republicans, Democrats, Independents, hippie peaceniks and military spouses, PhDs and some who never rent to college, women in their 60s and women in their 20s: Yankees, Rebels, SAHMs, WOHMS, straights, gays, bisexuals....coffee drinkers, tea drinkers, wine drinkers, dog people, cat people, people who dislike animals.....and we can all disagree and yet all get along and be supportive when ot counts, with the exception of three people. One of whom wants to fight about a cat's name.

And I will admit to my brain not working all that great, because when there was discussion last week, what little I read of it, I was thinking of One Republic.  I like that band better that One Direction.

But isn't it ok Jam, to call it One Direction?  Just because many people shorten it to 1D?  I still refer to it as One Direction the few times in my life that it comes up.
