1. What shoes are you wearing?

2. How many hours of exercise do you usually get in a week? What kind?

3. How do you feel about the US government supporting Islamists abroad? [Back in 2002/2003 when the Boston bombers moved to the US, the US was backing the Chechens on the sly, before that there were the Taliban and now the Syrian Jihad fighters.]

"I wasn't calling out Muslims I was calling out your use of the word "Islamists"." ---------- Why don't you tell me what "Islamist" means? I think it might help the discussion. As for how the bombers got to the US, I used the words "very likely," since we don't know yet. However, I do know something of the general background, so I say "very likely" for a reason.

Trashing Catholicism is always an amusing side too, Lol.

So is reading these types of statements while the speaker has a pretty messy backyard of their own.   :)

1.  I'm not.

2.  Not nearly enough.  Barely two hours, lately and if it weren't for yard work, and pulling carpeting, I wouldn't be getting that.  And the carpeting is gone, now, so I really need to get serious again.

3.It's just Noriega and the other South or Central American dictators all over again.  It's no worse, nor better that now the flavor is Islam instead of Catholicism.

"It's just Noriega and the other South or Central American dictators all over again" -------- That's an interesting take.

The US has taken "The enemy of my enemy is my ally" to stupid and self-destructive extremes.  And all in a knee-jerk  presumption that ANYTHING will always be less evil and more good than communism/socialism.

And there appears to be no indication that we're likely to learn from our past mistakes any time soon.

True that.

1. What shoes are you wearing?

Black tennis shoes.  Boring.

2. How many hours of exercise do you usually get in a week? What kind?

6-9 hours in the gym currently.  Then, 2 1/2 to three hours walking the dogs.  As it gets warmer, I'll spend more time walking outdoors and somewhat less in the gym.  Two to three hours a week right now doing fairly intense yard work.

3. How do you feel about the US government supporting Islamists abroad? [Back in 2002/2003 when the Boston bombers moved to the US, the US was backing the Chechens on the sly, before that there were the Taliban and now the Syrian Jihad fighters.]

I think it's reprehensible.

1. Black converse.

2. Not much lately, I'm afraid. Yesterday I carried 6 fully hung doors from the driveway into the basement, and unloaded a bunch of insulation. Does that count?

I usually start a spring/summer regimen once the sidewalks thaw out, but the wind has been terrible this year. I can deal with the cold temperatures (I welcome them, actually) but I cannot deal with whipping wind.

3. I think US foreign policy is insane. We play a scary puppetmaster.

1, none.

2. Probably about 3-5.  Walking, some running, bike riding, weights.

3. It is nothing new, we have a long history of helping people when it seems to be in our best interest and then later the people we helped become our "enemy".
