Oh my! I think this has been the longest week ever.   And in talking with friends, colleagues and acquaintances, both local and virtual, it seems to have been that way for a lot of people.

So, I need something light today.

When's the last time you ate out? Where and what did you have?

Have you started your grilling season yet?

Is your farmer's market open yet?

And of course, what are you wearing today?

1. Lunch.  Sushi

2. No, and we probably won't until August.   I am going to be gone all but a two weeks of the period between May 31 and August 7th.

3. I am not sure, to be honest.

4.  A collarless navy cotton shirt shirt with 3/4 length sleeves, and a navy and turquoise animal-print inspired skirt. Both from Coldwater Creek, which I just read is going out of business.   And that means I am going into mourning.  It's my favorite clothing store.

Last time I ate out was Saturday morning.  I had a migas taco at Torchy's Tacos.

We do not really grill much but if we did this is the time of year we would before it gets too hot.

I had to google it to check, it has been running since Jan.   When it was downtown I used to sometimes go but it moved to another local that is not as convenient so I have not been there in over a year.   May need to check it out again.

I am wearing dark blue cargo shorts and a red shirt for Red Shirt Friday.

Oops!  I just remembered that GAB and I ate at IHOP on Wednesday night, on the way home from buying his truck.  I have no recollection of the food (typical of me and IHOP) but I do remember drinking lots of coffee.  We were about an hour and a half from home and I had to drive his car back, so caffeination was the object of the game.

When's the last time you ate out? Where and what did you have?

Sunday, GAB and I tried a new pizza place near him.  Had white pizza with black and green olives.

Have you started your grilling season yet?

We never really stopped this year.

Is your farmer's market open yet?

Yes.

And of course, what are you wearing today?

Jeans, floral tunic (goldenrod background with maroon and purple flower print), brown loafers.

When's the last time you ate out? Where and what did you have?

Last Friday, we went to Fire and Ice. It's a place where you pick out you food combos, and take them to be grilled. We had a little bit of everything, pasta, rice, salmon, chicken, beef, calimari, vegetables, and sauces. It was the first time we went and the teens loved it. I prefer to be waited on when dining out.

Have you started your grilling season yet?

Yes

Is your farmer's market open yet?

Not until end of May. The asparagus patch is cleaned and hopefully growing soon.

And of course, what are you wearing today?

Jeans, tee, light sweatshirt, sneakers, and I'm about to head to a walk on the beach.

The last time I ate out was with a group of friends from work, a couple of months ago. We went to a local Italian place, I had tortellini and a salad.

Grilling, yes!  We have grilled several times... actually, we grill year round.  :-)

Farmers market opens in May. Not sure how it is going to work this year.. we'll see.

I am still in my work out clothes.

The last time I ate out was almost two weeks ago (going to remedy that tonight!) due to a very busy couple of weeks, evening meetings, DH's long business trip, and general tiredness. Had grilled lamb on mashed plantains. It sounds better than it actually was. We're giving up on that restaurant.

We had a warm day last week and I grilled some burgers.

Our farmer's market doesn't open until the end of May, probably because this sucky winter lasted so long nothing is actually growing yet.

I am wearing faded skinny jeans that I need to replace, a navy t-shirt and white cotton sweater with a mango stain from last night's dinner (black bean burgers and mango). Just so you don't think I'm a total slob, I feel it necessary to report that I looked awesome last night at my son's spring concert, good hair day and all.
