Welcome to a new week :)

1. Has spring "sprung" by you yet?

2. What are you wearing today?

3. Do you make a special menu for Easter (if you celebrate it)?

Seems that the family didn't "remember" this though? How is that possible if they have holidays together every year?

We rotate amongst ourselves. So SIL hadn't had a holiday in 18 months or so. And she forgot. Stuff happens. Which is why parents like me can't ever let our guards down. EVER. Still want to tell me how I'm doing it wrong, Hazel? B/c until you've lived it, you don't have a clue.

On Wednesdays we wear pink.

YES Jam. There are so many things on pinterest. I am going to a wedding in a few months and have been looking in the wedding section at guest dresses too to get some ideas :)

The same kind of people who woul be afraid to hurt someone's feelings by not letting them smoke in your house--you might offend them.  Even though other people in the same room might have asthma or other lung conditions.  That's not anyone here, unless anyone wants to volunteer that they do that (and it would have been more releveant in the 70's & 80's) it's just a comparison.

Sorry Regina but it seems very severe of an allergy that if you have made a big deal about it (because IT IS a big deal) on a message board, I can't imagine HOW a family member would not remember.

Don't they know how severe it is as it seems that everyone on this messageboard does but your own SIL "forgot".

People would have talked about the bad sister-in-law except you jumped & said you would do it on purpose.  So do you get it why that happened?  If after all this posting you have changed your mind that you could accommodate a life threatening allergy hypothetically serving to a child with one--you could mention that.  Now you seem to be putting it on the inlaws & Regina and how irresponsbile they are.  Doesn't matter--Regina took care of it.  You are saying you are on board with serving the tree nuts also.

DH's stepfamily, actually. And as I don't live inside SIL's head, IDK what happened. But I made it clear that it could not ever happen again. My sister and father are awesome about accomodating itty bitty. Because they get that there is no food worth her life.

Well, Criuse, you already said that you would not accommodate a life-threatening allergy. Just plain would not. Don't expect us to transfer our outrage at your outright refusal to the SIL who "forgot."
