iVillage now has a toolbar you can add to your browser that has all the latest iVillage headlines and highlights plus Twitter, Facebook, your local weather and more, very cool!

We’re still working on it and a link to community/boards option will be added soon.

Will the formatting thingy ever become available for Mac? As far as I know all the special features only work with Windows, which seems like a slightly antiquated approach.

I'm frustrated by that too as I'm a Mac user at home

Yeah, absolutely. Here and on other websites you might be familiar with :)

Look underneath the text box (when you're composing a post) sometime. Above the boxes for spell check, attach a file, preview message and cancel message. There's a box you can check if you have HTML tags in the message.

You don't even have to use the hyper-coded style that Prospero uses; just use basic, simple HTML and Prospero will add any additional coding it wants.

Ahh, that is what that means. OK, so although I don't really know what you said, I do know what HTML tags are. It would be nice to be able to do ital and bold at least.

This would be italic if I'd clicked the button.

This would be bold.

This would be tiny and blue. If you made it yellow, instead, it would be really annoying :)
