How is it looking for you?

Ours will be fairly busy,   This morning I get my car back from the car hospital.   Then DH and I are going to the shoooting range.

Tomorrow the DDs and boy friends are coming over for dinner, looking forward to it, first time since DD1's surgery to be all together.

Next Sunday the family is walking in the Komen Race for the Cure.

A three day weekend the week before Thanksgiving to celebrate our 32nd anniversary.  Because of the journey we have been on this year it  will be our first time getting away so are extremely looking forward to it.

Have a Thanksgivng dinner at the vet center,  a Thanksgiving pot luck at work. before the real Thanksgiving.

Going out for Thanksgiving this year, usually we host but DH's dad and step-mother want to this year so we will be going to a restaurant, probably come back here for dessert afterwards.

4 day weekend for Thanksgiving.

Things are getting less crazy at work back to 35-40 hours a week rather than 45-50.

I don't have any work travel scheduled for the rest of the year. Thanksgiving at home, as always. Hoping to get back into a regular exercise routine. It's been pretty hit-or-miss since I started back teaching.

I am hoping much slower.

Exercise classes, some birthday parties, some school things, religion classes, oil burner check up, most likely home for Thanksgiving with family coming over for dessert, football party at our house and whatever else comes up.

Pretty busy here too. I am completing a work project, and dh is starting a new work project. Dh will probably also have to travel, so I am debating whether to come along for some of it.

Oh, and StL folks, I am were working until about 2 pm, then I hope to take advantage of some of your free stuff to make some memories before heading home. Don't have time for the zoo, so I'm thinking the Cathedral because I'm with several colleagues who've never been inside. We already walked around Jefferson Landing and did the courthouse between sessions yesterday. Nice park, with trees, overlooking the Mighty Mississippi. Nothing like a crisp fall day in the Midwest!

It will be very busy.

Personal life:  Today is the last band contest of the year - state championships. So we won't get home until probably midnight.  Next sat is honor band auditions for The Boy. Thursday of that week we have a Chef Event.  Then the 15th, dh and I accompany The Girl on her first official college visit.  Then weekend of the 22-24, The Girl and I go out of state for another college visit.  Then of course Thanksgiving break in there.    And scattered throughout are a couple of doctor's and dentists visits and other miscellany.

Work: I have 5-6 trainign sessions with faculty in November. I have a new employee starting on Wednesday. I have an out-of-town work meeting all day Thursday.   I have interviews scheduled for our other open position.   Between the regular workload and the added training sessions and the added training/orientation of a new employee, it will be a very busy month.

I don't know if November will be any more or less busy than October, but there are a few things currently on my list.  It's dentist *season* and we found out yesterday that dd will need braces, so that starts a new slew of appointments.  It's also dd's birthday month, and we will travel for Thanksgiving.  Things at work have picked up a bit, but not a great deal.

<<How is it looking for you?>>

This is a real changing of seasons for us....the family schedule changes with the sports seasons changing, that always takes a bit of adjustment on everyone, figuring it out until a routine develops.  But the month is nice because the main sports don't have games until December, so the evenings during the week are quieter for the most part.

I think we have decided to spend Tday in the area and not travel to dh's family, we will spend it with mine.

Work will be a bit crazy with a lot of eoy stuff going on.

November is always one of my favorite months, we spend a lot of time home and together as a family.

Good luck on the college visits and band competition!
