Kinda related to one of threads above. Do your children have nicknames? Names that siblings call them that have stuck?

We call our olders Zakattack or Zakky. Sometimes we call him Prozak (given by his great uncle).

Alex has been nicknamed Monkey Boy/Monkey. He has these impossibly long arms and legs and he will pick at his food like a monkey. Plus, we read Curious George books and it sounds like something Alex will do. I am quite sure he will not thank us later.

My sister's name is Camie Faye and I sometimes call her Camilla Fayetta and her husband calls her Baker. She has tried countless times to get rid of her middle name and it just doesn't work.

We're a family full of nicknames. . .

Dh and I go by shortened versions of our names, as do our daughters. I tend to call ds by his full name, while dh shortens it.

DD1 is our 'drama mama', chicken butt (or C.B.), B-Lizabeth, and her grandmother calls her a name I can't type here.

DD2 is Gilliebean. ..beanerbutt. . .B-Zandra, and her grandmother calls her Bubbles.

DS is "Mister Man". . .MattMan. . .MatthewPichu. . .babybutt. . .and Bubba.

DS calls DD1 Sissy and DD2 Gigi, though she doesn't like it so she's teaching him to call her 'my GilliYAN'.

I have several for each girl:

Annikki-"annie-girl", Annible the Cannible (which is usually reduced to Annible, which is what ended up catching on and now everyone calls her that) or Anibooble

Zariyah- Hossible (don't ask me where I got that from it just happened--there's even a theme song attached to that one), Dider Mouse (don't ask but that's what Annikki calls Zariyah about 50% of the time) and Mami (which is what I call her most of the time)

We don't really have nicknames for the kids, but dd5 calls ds4 *sweetie* and ds4 calls dd5 *honey.*

I hope they outgrow this soon. :)

We used to call ds Scrunion (rhymes with onion) when he was a baby, who knows why. Now, we tend to call him Bubba or Bubby-Scooter, the latter being the one he refers to himself as. If he wants yogurt (we get him those little kids yogurts that are smaller) he asks for a "bubby-scooter yogurt". As to his first name.. strangely enough we use it in it's full form, and he HATES being called Chuck, Chuckie, Charlie, or anything in between. Of course he doesn't pronounce his own name quite correctly so it's funny when he corrects people.

Well, my kids call each other "bubby" and "sissy". Don't ask me where they came from! lol

But my nick names for them are Pickle (for DS, because he LOVES pickles, and has since he was a BABY) and Angel (for DD...not sure where that came from, but it stuck).

Okmrsmommy-36, CPmom to DD-16 and DS-14

No way, Kristi....I've called Joel "Monkey" since he was a baby. It started one day when I reached into his crib and said, "C'mere, Monkey!" and it stuck.

We haven't had any other nicknames, really. His dad called him Joely and I hated that. I do sometimes call him Joel I (his middle name is Isaac) but there haven't been any that other people have picked up on.

The cutest one in our family belongs to my niece. Her name is Courtney and when she was little she pronounced it "Corky." A lot of people still call her that.

DS1 is Dan, so it's "Danster" or "Dan the Man" or "Deej" (his initials are DJ). DS2 is Keith, so it's Keither or Keitherweeth.
