November Fluff

Yes, it is November. Enough of the October "Pink". That doesn't mean we forget and still do things for breast cancer, but we need to go on. The "Pink" obviously works as if you saw GMA this morning, Amy was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. This was her first ever mammogram and she did it in October to go along with the "Pink" campaign.

1. Do you have Thanksgiving plans yet?

2. What is your favorite side dish for Thanksgiving?

3. What is your favorite dessert for Thanksgiving (trying to get ideas as we were invited to a friends home and was asked to bring dessert)?

That's 100% not true.  You're fabricating.  Just admit you were wrong.  Why can't you admit you simply made an innocent, harmless mistake?

The only thing close to a mistake I made (in this thread) was to presume that the girl you referenced, whose husband is a doctor, had talked to him about breast cancer.  And since, I said in the very first post about it, that I was *presuming*, it was noted upfront.

Wow.  Such diversion.

<<"Morty" was speaking about Bord who does not watch GMA nor TV.>>

Well thats odd, then why would she quote something "I" said if she was speaking about Bord?  Why wouldn't she quote one of Bord's comments (or heck, use her name) if she was trying to speak to Bord?

Well I guess Morty made a boo boo and didn't reference her name. I guess Morty figured everyone would figure out WHO does not watch GMA because they don't even watch TV.

<<Why not the whole thing? Why is that an "of course" answer?>>

Because it's long and full of fluff at times, because one can easily catch what one missed online.

How do you know what you are missing if you don't watch it? I actually find GMA to be very interesting and I enjoy all the stories. I never find it long and full of fluff. Maybe because I actually enjoy fluff. Too many bad stories on the news that it is enlightening to watch it before work and see a nice story.

Now the woman only I know has a husband who talked to her about breast cancer???  Oh, my.  You're really leaping.

Pssst.  Just admit you were wrong and should not have bashed Fallflower based on your mistaken premise.  Can ya do that?

Why don't you let Morty stand up on her own?

Just like Iamvelma doesn't let Ducky come back out. Why is that?

Is Gingko Biloba related to Payola?

It is Paola and no, Ginkgo Biloba is a vitamin.

Fallflower, are you an at-home mom?  Do you watch GMA or other morning television?  I don't watch much and even I watched that video clip, lol!  Guess what ~ my 48 year-old friend whose husband is a doctor was NOT in the clip. Wink  Anyway, I made a lasagna home today during all of this fighting on this silly message board.

Thank goodness I have more tennis and shopping tomorrow!

Here is the article I read as followup. http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/health/2013/11/11/abc-news-amy-robach-reveals-breast-cancer-diagnosis/

There are a lot of details in here that you didn't include (not by design I don't think - but simply because you were giving a short reference and the hight points, which I think you did accurately).

Of course, I don't know how many times I can say that I THINK YOU PORTRAYED WHAT YOU SAW ACCURATELY before you realize that those words don't mean I THINK YOU WERE LYING.
