Christmas Eve, church and then my mom and her DH come over for chili and presents. Christmas my mom will bring a breakfast casserole and see the kids stuff. Then it's just DH and
We drive across town to my mom's/sister's for Christmas Eve. It's just family but we are a crowd. If everyone shows up we are 15 adults and 6 children. 5 of whom are under 5. Christmas Day is at our house this year with dh's side of the family. I'll make coffee cake and scrambled eggs at 10am for those who want to show up for breakfast. Otherwise, there will be a sandwich buffet for lunch. We could have 10 adults and 6 children through out the day.

christmas eve is always mass.
christmas day will just be us.
Christmas Eve is always church then we have about 20 people over for dinner and such.
I only have my mom on my side of the family who lives nearby. So, she is with us Christmas eve and day.
Christmas Eve we go to mass and to a friends house which we have been doing since my oldest was born. There are tons of adults and kids and Santa comes. However, this year we are cutting it short. This friend is now divorced and really bitter. Her kids have to go with her ex later on Christmas eve (first one) and she is going to be miserable. I do not feel like wrecking my Christmas. So, we will not stay as late.
Christmas day - my mom comes over really early and watches the girls open gifts. We ahve a big breakfast and the kids play (although this year they wanted a lot less toys) and we are going over my SIL's house with my dh's family. Her and I switch Christmases every year.
