In the few minutes before my hot date and I leave for dinner before we head off to the theatre, here's some fluff.

plays or live theatre?

What's your seating preference? (Either in live theatre or the movies--I'm no snob)

do you enjoy local theatre? Do you attend the local school productions? I'm speaking of local schools where eithwr your kids don't attend or where they are not involved in the production in any way? What about other live theatre, such as local theatre productions with adult, but amateur actors? (Bea Authur, I know your answer already ;) )

Most recent visit to either kovies or live theatre.

Forgot about last movie I saw and it was "A Royal Affair," so that is a while ago.

I prefer musicals on DVD rather than live, that way I can fast forward past the songs ;)

"We LOVE musicals. We saw Mamma Mia so many times at the movies, on dvd and TV. Lol" ------ Good for you. I do not usually enjoy the singing, so it gets tiresome for me. I loathe Abba.

Oh man! How could I forget? My last live theatre was WICKED! And it was FANTASTIC!

I like live theatre better than movies. I don't do either very often anymore. When I do go, I like to sit about a third of the back, in the middle. The last movie I saw in a theatre was "Gravity." The last theatre? I can't really remember. I have a friend with a daughter a year younger than my older son, and she was in theatre in high school. We went to see her a lot. Since she graduated, not so much. Oh, wait. My younger son and I saw a "Measure for Measure " in San Diego in December 2012. I'm planning a trip to London in July. Will probably go to at least three plays then.

    Both

I prefer about halfway back.  When I'm with the kid I have to sit either all the way in the back (which is OK) or all the way in the front (which is horrible), depending on the theatre.

I do!  I have attended school productions, but not my own kid's school.  It's been a while, but I used to attend a local company's productions quite regularly.  I'm a little bit out of that loop right now.

I don't even remember.  The last one I remember is Argo, but I'm sure I've been to one since.  GAB often chooses movies that I find completely forgettable....so chances are it's one of those and I've completely forgotten.
