The past tense of this verb is "paid" not payed.

That is all.

My favorite was when I worked in financial printing--we printed the IPOs (Initial Public Offer) among other things, and software companies were the worst about this kind of stuff. anyway, we got an IPO one day where the company spoke about how their software was better than other people's software because "we architect our software to be easily modified to suit individual needs."

Yeah. Architect: The Verb.

We howled out on the typesetting floor and then shared the joke with the proof room, who howled louder.

They never did change that, either. (and then they tanked about 3 years after going public)

add to the list, inappropriate use of "a" and "an".

The most common one has to be "definately." It drives me nuts.
