were your (children)'s names picked out before they were born or were names decided upon when they were born?

how often is working status brought up in social settings/with friends, etc. ?

if there is one thing you could recapture about the past (before kids or/and husband, after kids, whatever) what would it be and why?

what are you looking forward to?

name one nice thing you're going to do today.

First son was named after my husband's father, his maternal and paternal grandfathers, and most male firstborns in his both families. We decided on daughter's in the hospital while I was in labor, and gave her her nickname when we met her. I got to name youngest ds with I name I loved as long as I can remember.

Working status is brought up only when introduced to new acquaintances is a social setting.

I wish my mom was still around.

Oldest son's soccer game.

I made my youngest son's favorite dinner and brownies.

It wasn't that we couldn't agree on boy's names for the girls but that we couldn't think if any that we liked enough to have a disagreement about.

What is with men? ;) I think it is a great name too. Oh well, at least I talked him out of Heraclea.

"or they seem stupid at my age."

Hush your mouth. If you want to do it, do it. Life really is too short to worry about looking stupid.

That's just the thing....they seem stupid to me now, but it would've been nice to have done them then.

DH and DS share the same middle name, it's DH's dad's father's first name.
