No, it isn't ignoring them. It's insulting them.

You are the one that needs to stop. Really.

What worst weather experience have you lived through

Blizzard of 78, the windstorm of 2011,

What is your favorite color

I wear mostly black but I enjoy purple very much

Do you donate to chariites online

It's rare to find any nonprofit that does not have an online component to its giving...my theater for example gets many memberships each day on line.  I give to my chartities of choice by check or on line  and recently gave to an online fundraiser for my friend who just lost her husband.

Name one thing (or two...) that is on your mind right now

the aforementioned friend who just lost her husband at the ripe old age of 45 leaving her with four kids under the age of 9

I hear you about charitable options bea. Even my church offers online tithing instead of the basket collection each week, My stubborn self won't do it that way. I'm sorry for your friend.

2.  purple

3.  Not usually

4.  Last week of school this week. I have to wrap up each work day for each different school.

What worst weather experience have you lived through

Hurricane Gloria!  I was back in college and we all "bonded" waiting for the electricity to come back on.

What is your favorite color

Hard to choose.  Pink.

Do you donate to chariites online

No.  I feel badly, but I just don't trust them yet.  It's silly for me not to trust them, I'm sure.  The Red Cross should be fairly safe.

Name one thing (or two...) that is on your mind right now

Oklahoma obviously.  And the end of the year madness at the schools ~ field trips, concerts, festivals.  I didn't have half that much fun in school!

Good questions.

God Hurricane gloria -- sophomore year of college-- cancelled classes and one big long drunk fest... ah the memories.  Doors music blasting out of every window.  ;-)

just as an FYI as long as your nonprofit of choice is using a secure server (Https:// verus http://)  yur information will be safe-- our program strips out credit card information and encodes it and once the gift is processed it deletes it... due diligence is suggested of course but most of us are processing thousands in gifts each day and no one has lost their personal information yet.  now does this mean give to every fly by night "Acme charity for good works?" of course not, but if your charity of choice has an online giving option its probably quite safe to give tha way.

i'm more a fan of smaller local orgs doing good work on the ground than the huge national nonprofits like Red Cross that are more like corporations - but no matter your preferenc,e on line giving is quite safe and secure.. just like on line shopping and on line ticket purchases.

That's good to know about online charitable giving. Hurricane Gloria ~ so many rich people lost their boats.  So sad.
