lol!!
Not sure how you can be "nosy and pushy" at a ceremony. Maybe that poster can explain :)
No, actually, very little speech is truly free and protected by our Constitution.
I am not going to comment on the way that it is done in your area, because it is evidently all right with you, and the next time I am in your area, I may drop in on a wedding or two just to see if they are as over the top as I have heard.
In other areas of the country, the areas that the wedding etiquette books address, it is considered rude to bring someone to a wedding when that person hasn't been invited. In fact, many venues have limited seating, and in some cases, brides and grooms have carefully gone over lists of people whom they would like to invite, or their parents have wanted them to invite, and have found they cannot invite everyone they would like because the church or chapel will only hold so many. So Aunt Gertrude bringing along her neighbor, or Johnny from the office bringing two or three guests, or somebody just showing up because they heard there was a wedding there that day, could really upset the apple cart in terms of people who were not included on the wedding invitation list. And you don't have to search too far to find stories of people who bring children who were not invited, or who insisted on bringing along guests who were not invited, or whatnot. Most of the people who are complaining about uninvited guests seem to think that these people showing up is a breach of etiquette.

Simple, classic, basic.
Very narrowly? You're trying to be funny, again, right? How many people have been convicted of verbal obscenities or hate speech?
Any relevant examples in the past 50 years will do.
Oh I remember hiding in a bathroom at a wedding, I was puking, totally out of nowhere a stomach bug hit. It was the last wedding I attended before my own for a frined that I've known since I was 4. I hear the food wasn't that good anyway and they paid a LOT for it.
