I did not say that all a graduation is pretentious. Why in heaven's name would you want to distort my words in that way?
I said that I find most graduation ceremonies to be pretentious. There is nothing to argue there, unless you want to assert that I do not find most graduation ceremonies pretentious.

See, some of them are still under the illusion that they went to 'Nam to defend the constitution and Bill of Rights. That's an argument for a different day.

I always thought the Bill of Rights contained our constitutional right to free speech.

I don't think you understand military service people if you do not think they serve in the military to defend everyone's rights in this country. I've heard this stated by active duty and past vets numerous times.
