I'm guessing that the people who asked where she was were not the same people who wrote up the guest list. Is it custom in your part of the world for everyone who is invited to a wedding to get a list of everyone else who is invited, too? I've never heard of such a thing, but it is a big wide world out there.....

lolol!!! Usually there is not much time AFTER dessert but maybe I am going to the wrong weddings-5 hours seem ENOUGH to me as that is ALOT of dancing-lol!!

It is usually just common sense if you see NO kids that you know that NO kids were invited, especially if you normally see these kids at other functions.

my friend's DD had an outdoor wedding last month,in march.

Maybe I am too "sheltered" (lol!!) to know these things. As I have said before I have been to weddings that run the gamut (in my state and outside of it) and there has always been places you could "escape" if you needed to.

Other family & friends asked where the little one was. The inviter people were the bride & groom. EVeryone in the family was not aware of the exact guest list. Shrug.
