There are a lot of new posters out there and some old faces, lets all introduce ourselves again...

This is all very fascinating from an anthropological perspective.

Oh geesh!

I know the difference between ceremony and reception. Problem is, in the post I quoted that has me baffled, you didn't use those words. You used the words ceremony and wedding.

So, let me re-ask my original question ... are the wedding and the ceremony two different things? If so, then how is the ceremony not part of the wedding?

And why is it relevant if the "churches" are thrilled more people are there? Wouldn't the relevant feelings be those of the bride and groom?

I'm still stuck on how "churches" have feelings. Oh well. Maybe they mean the priest/minister/rabbi? Or the piano/organ player? If they do I guess that those people just assume that everyone is an invited guest.

<<...you and Forlinis might want to get your stories straight about whether you live on Long Island or not. Just sayin.>>

Why would I want to get my story straight about where in the world Coco lives?

Having never been divorced years after her wedding, egd3blessed probably feels similarly.

Oh, I missed that movie.

I'm loving how one can't utilize the restrooms due to the noise level. ;-)
