The Guardian had an interesting article yesterday about routines and productivity.  if you WOH/WAH and have control of your workload, how do you organize your day?  If you SAH but have. "brain work,"  I.e., classes, volunteers things to organize, etc, how do you choose to organize your day?

Sometimes I fall asleep on the couch waiting for him and he had to wake me up to say goodnight, lol

That's sweet.  Most trips we take our kids to we pick them up from too.  I can see my DS doing that though, he still kisses me goodnight.

As a sahm of children all in school, I'm just as much a consumer as a producer at this point.  I don't have much "brain work" scheduled.  I'm in a book club, but that's more fun than brain work.  Ideally, I'd choose to organize my days around scheduled meetings or exercise time.  For instance, I know myself and I'm more likely to get out of the house if I've paid dues to a women's club or fees for a tennis league.  There's a danger in being a sahm with too much free time, so I try to schedule/pay for things.  Doing only laundry, dog walks and grocery shopping can drive a person crazy after a decade or so, lol.  Like Jamblessed, I live by a daily planner or sorts, love the schools' computer campus and things.
