Any of you have teens who are talking about the semicolon project today? Evidently we should all be checking our children's wrists.  < https://m.facebook.com/pages/The-Semicolon-Project/659615364052145?id=659615364052145&_rdr>

Right, that's what I said.  You said she compared herself to you and jamblessedthree, which wasn't true, you know since she compared her grammar.  So did you read incorrectly or just make it up?

All I pointed out was that in spite of your silly posts claiming that any decent mother would know what her children are doing online, you either don't know or don't care what your children are doing and have done, because they are up to things that violate all the standards of internet safety.  And one of your children has posted that she is anxious, depressed, possibly cutting, and possibly suicidal, so maybe you should take some action on that.  You might also suggest she take down that post asking people to text her anonymously for an hour.  A predator could claim that she "asked for it."  I'm not claiming to know anything about your children other than what I could glean from the few pictures I saw.  She seems like a nice enough kid from the dozen or so posts I saw that she had made.   I don't know how you figure that simply looking up a kid is worse than looking up the kid, pretending to be someone else, friending the kid, and then friending his teenaged friends.  There's simply no comparison.  I mean, really, even in this very thread you are calling out people who are distant, detached, unaware, etc -- and then you turn out to be one of them.

What post did I try to measure myself up to? The only comparison I've given here has been to grammar, syntax and spelling. I've made no other comparison here.  I didn't call her jealous. I asked if jealousy was a possible motivation for her thinking I 'haven't gotten very far'? It was a QUESTION (which she declined to answer).

The statement that I said I could have stated did NOT say anything about being "still married". Nor did it say anything about marrying young.   Here it is again - you might want to reread.

"Yep and very proud of being 42 and a mom of 2. We waited 5 years after marriage to get ourselves settled down to have a family."

I, too, am proud of being 42 adn a mom of 2.  I, too, waited 5 years after marriage to get settled down to have a family.

See? You're making stuff up again. You're getting very good at that.

I don't think anything is wrong with my life .. well, nothing that a good night's rest won't fix.

I'm asking you because you said I 'haven't gotten very far'.  You didn't make any statement about me not getting any farther than anyone else - no one else was mentioned. You simply stated I hadn't gotten very far.

I was not equating proper grammar with "how far" I have gotten in life.  That was all your doing.

And, for the record, I don't *think* I have better grammar than Jams; I *know* I have better grammar than Jams.

Yeah?  But that doesn't constitute comparing my life to you or Jams.

My dumbest cat, Trini, has better grammar than Jams.  Hell, my SOFA has better grammar.
