Any of you have teens who are talking about the semicolon project today? Evidently we should all be checking our children's wrists.  < https://m.facebook.com/pages/The-Semicolon-Project/659615364052145?id=659615364052145&_rdr>

. How often should a parent be checking their teens accounts, in your opinion?  My son showed me several Instagram accounts last night where it looked to me where the kids with the photos of their wrists were really reaching out for help.  Mostly girls.  Also, there are ten thousand new ways for kids to get in trouble online.  How many of these do you know about?     <http://www.checkupnewsroom.com/7-dangerous-apps-that-parents-need-to-know-about/>

If you were monitoring your child's facebook/social media then you'd know what they doing, who they were friending etc (at least IME).  I can't imagine being so absent bordwithyou.

I'd hope parents are doing more than just checking their childrens' wrists.  There are these groups/projects that my kids talk about at their schools and we talk about this at home too, Their perspectives are very interesting to listen to.  But like the compassion thread, I'm not sure where you're trying to go here, I don't see this one debate worthy either.
