Sexy Underwear for Teens

I only have boys, so while I have an opinion on this, wanted to see how the moms of teen girls feel about store's such as Victoria's Secret carrying lines of sexy underwear that are for college aged girls, but appeal to a teen audience.  They were recently targeted by moms for their "Bright Young Things" spring break line.  From Time.com:

But should anyone be walking around in undies that declare “Dare You,” “Call Me” or “Feeling Lucky?” like some of the missives printed on the manufacturer’s spring-break inventory? That’s certainly a matter of personal taste — for adults. But for young girls, “This speaks to the idea that girls have a fantasy of being raped, that women on some level are asking for it,” says Dana Udall-Weiner, a Santa Fe, N.M., psychologist who works with girls on body image.

Would you let your teen wear suggestive underwear?  Do you think that teen girls have a right to feel confident and sexy, or are they getting the wrong message from retailers?

That's very nice of you Bord. I don't think I would want someone doing my laundry, but that is just me.

Why do you keep asking me that Peachy? You can ask your dd who is a teen.

I am pretty certain that Bord doesn't want to do your laundry either, so I guess it's all good.

I keep asking b/c you keep saying it.....or at least that's what I thought you said, but you won't clarify. Why would I ask my daughter. I know what type of underwear she wears, I buy it.

No, not HER underwear Peachy, what every other teen is wearing. I am sure she knows. Again, she has no say in her own underwear?

Well, the mother usually comes over and starts the laundry, but I don't require her to hang around until it is done. So I usually end up putting at least one load in the dryer, or folding it to get it out of the way so I can do my own. She will hang up my stuff or fold it when it's done if she gets there first. So it's all good.

Does she pay you to do her laundry? I just ask as I knew someone who ironed laundry (sahm) for extra cash.

How would my daughter know what kind of underwear every other teen is wearing? And wth are you talking about her having "no say in her own underwear"? Again, you aren't making any sense.
